I find myself making handmade gifts for birthdays for those close to me. Not only because I love to create but it also provides a little something special into the gift. My friends and family often tell me that the handmade gift meant more to them because I took the time to make it. My sister's birthday is coming up and I made her this cute almost vintage looking pendant out of sculpy oven baked clay and painted it with acrylics. I also could not help but to decorate an old gift box with scraps of fabric and a few buttons.
